The prototype software implementing mobility management in heterogeneous networking environments, M4 MultiMedia Mobility Manager, was recently presented to the research community. Mobility management in heterogeneous networking environments modelled in OPNET Modeler 12.0
At the OPNETWORK'07 conference taking place in Washington D.C. on August 27-31, 2007, our proposed architecture combining multihoming in Mobile IP with a network-layer metric (the relative network load, RNL) for decision making, the newly created OPNET Model 12.0-based models were presented. We intend to publish the models at OPNET's web site for contributed models shortly.
